At MindWell Psychology we offer individual psychotherapy to address a wide variety of issues. Psychotherapy allows adults to explore and understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with the goal of developing coping strategies to manage symptoms and stressors. The aim of psychotherapy is to emerge from treatment with a reduction in overall stress and a sense of strength and confidence to manage future stressors.

We believe in working in a collaborative, warm and supportive environment to help our clients attain the growth and relief they need to live a happy and productive life. Clinicians at MindWell Psychology are devoted to client focused and collaborative treatment, however, we also use scientifically proven treatment modalities to address a variety of mental health challenges.

Our therapists are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as a number of other scientifically validated therapeutic techniques. There is no “one size fits all”, so we are flexible and integrative with our approaches.

Our Treatment Process
When clients call MindWell Psychology, they will be matched with a therapist to best suit their needs and preferences.
You will receive intake paperwork to fill out so your clinician will be familiar with your history, current stressors, relationships and strengths.
You will be seen for an intake session for approximately 75 minutes to gather background and develop a treatment plan to address your challenges.

In therapy we use an integrated treatment model to address thought patterns, feelings, behaviors, reactions to stress, and introduce coping strategies to manage these challenges in a more adaptive way.
When indicated, we may integrate partners, spouses or caregivers into the therapy milieu.

When clients are feeling well and are ready to fly solo, we will work on a plan to discontinue therapy or meet intermittently for as long as the client needs support. If MindWell clinicians can’t meet your needs, we will transition you to a specialist in the field.
