Delayed Development
As parents, you recognize when there may be an area of development that is not progressing or “stuck.” This often plays out in noticing that your child’s language skills are delayed or is able to understand more than he or she can express. Perhaps your child is particularly sensitive to his or her environment and overreacts to certain textures or noises. A parent might recognize that their child is not making consistent eye contact, is not playing interactively with other children, or not aware of body space.

Any Questions
I cannot tell you what a relief this is. And I want to thank you for meeting with us to get this kid on a different path. Again the school system wants to wait and see hoping he “will really mature in tenth grade” of course each year this is what the administration has told us will happen the next year. We still spend a lot of time on homework but there is a light at the end of the tunnel for everyone! And it’s not just graduation, but a successful graduation and perhaps even college. Thank you, THANK YOU.
