Dr. Boland is trained in administering full neuropsychological batteries, including cognitive and personality assessments to aid in diagnostic formulation and/or assist with treatment recommendations. She prides herself in working closely with families and explaining the results in a way that they are easy to understand and providing recommendations that have real-life applications. She also understands that most of the time, families are coming to her after months, if not years of frustration and deliberation and that the assessment process is both a financial and a time commitment. As such, she works hard to make the experience not as intimidating for the child and supportive and collaborative for the family. Dr. Boland is also trained as a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist and helps clients understand the connection between thoughts, mood and behavior in maintaining maladaptive coping mechanisms. Her goal is to help each person understand their own unique strengths and use them to reach their goals. Contact MindWell today to schedule a consultation with Dr. Boland.
