Lisbeth Beyer has been a part of the military family her entire life, first as an Air Force child and then as a Navy spouse, never truly settling anywhere until moving to Virginia in 2005. Lisbeth received her BA in Psychology at the University of West Florida and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at the University of North Florida.
Lisbeth has worked in various capacities to include providing counseling at a women’s center and a residential group home, conducting diagnostic testing and assessment for children and adolescents, and as a family and individual therapist. While raising her family, Lisbeth volunteered as an advocate for reading enrichment programs in her children’s schools and worked as a fitness instructor to bring health and well-being to adults and children.
Since 2017, Lisbeth has volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children who have entered the court system due to abuse or neglect. As an advocate, she provides a voice for children, their needs and their best interests. More importantly, CASA volunteers are often the one consistent presence in a child’s life during court involvement and Lisbeth is passionate about obtaining a clear understanding of the facts and circumstances of each child’s situation. In her free time, Lisbeth enjoys spending time with her husband and three grown daughters, loves the outdoors and any and all dogs!
Lisbeth accepted a position with Mindwell Psychology in Chantilly Va, as an intake coordinator in 2023.
