Dr. Blakely Mulder is a licensed clinical psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist who provides evaluations for all ages. With her background in education, Dr. Mulder has strong understanding of developmental, learning, and attention differences and how these impact individuals both academically and socially. Each evaluation she conducts is personalized to address specific referral questions and yield in-depth understanding of the individual’s pattern of strengths and needs. She is passionate about providing reports with clear, actionable results. Dr. Mulder has worked in hospital, school, and clinical settings in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Dr. Mulder conducts evaluations primarily on evenings and weekends. During the day, she works in an elementary school program for children who require special education supports due to intensive mental health and behavioral needs. She loves working collaboratively with parents and teachers to develop children’s social, emotional, and executive functioning skills. Dr. Mulder’s training and experience as a school psychologist gives her in-depth knowledge of child development, teaching practices and curricula, how achievement is measured, and laws and practices related students with disabilities. She has worked at preschool, elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as in programs for students with autism and low intellectual functioning.
Prior to her current work, Dr. Mulder was a psychologist at a private practice in North Carolina specializing in court-involved counseling and custody evaluations. She also became a sought-after psychologist for thorough and actionable Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) and providing affirming therapy for LGTBQ teens and young adults. Dr. Mulder’s research background is in neuroscience, social-emotional development, and school readiness.
When not working, Dr. Mulder enjoys spending time with friends and family. Her interests include museums, fine and performing arts, and hiking.
